CONTENT POLICY
1. Who may open a stall on EntrepeTeens?
If you sell merchandise at Flea and Craft Markets, are a crafter, artist, home baker, farmer, budding or existing entrepreneur or sole proprietor providing services you are welcome to open a stall on EntrepeTeens.
2. Allowable products on EntrepeTeens
Below are the guidelines and requirements for goods, services and products you are ALLOWED to list in your stall.
Majority Handmade – products that are primarily created by hand. The majority of the production process is carried out manually/by hand, certain aspects or stages of the creation may utilise tools, equipment or technicians that aid in efficiency or precision. The emphasis is placed on the human touch, individual skill and artistic expression.
Original Artwork – A unique piece of creative work that is created by an artist. An artistic creation that is not a reproduction, copy, or imitation of someone else’s work. It can encompass various mediums, such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and mixed media. Digital artwork includes greeting cards, art work, and printed items.
Original Design –A creative concept, plan, or idea that is unique and has not been previously copied or imitated from existing sources. It represents a fresh and innovative approach to creating something new, whether it be in the field of art, fashion, industrial design, architecture, or other creative disciplines. These products include clothes, 3D printing, Laser cutting, Patterns.
Homemade Food Products – Food items which are not commercially produced or prepared in large food processing facilities or a factory. These are typically goods prepared using personal recipes, family tradition or individual creativity. These products can include baked goods, sauces, preserves, spices, snacks, and sweets.
Art/Craft Supplies – The design and production of objects and items which can be used as input into a creative process. These include kits, patterns, fabrics, etc.
Self-Published Books – These are books that are independently published by the author themselves, rather than through a traditional publishing house or company. In self-publishing, the author takes on the roles of both the writer and the publisher, overseeing all aspects of the book’s creation
Flea & Craft Market – Items that are usually sold at Flea and Craft Markets. These are typically handmade goods, but in some cases may be vintage items such as second-hand books, clothes or collectibles etc. The items will be distinguished by a tag, identifying them as such for the customer.
Services – Sole proprietors who provide personal services to customers. These could include – designers, party planners, artist commissions etc.
Assembled Items – Assembled items that involved the original design and not only mass-produced components, e.g. gift baskets, flowers, balloon flowers, honey etc.
3. Products that cannot be sold on EntrepeTeens
Mass-produced goods – No mass-produced goods may be sold on EntrepeTeens, although mass produced goods may be used in the construction of your products/goods.
Mass production Assembled goods – Assembled from mass-produced components with little or no original design involved, for example – eg putting together “jewellery” (bought chain and charm), bedding, plastic toys etc .
Products which infringe copyright– These can include products and terms, such as popular book characters, cartoon characters, slogans and logos. Please ensure you pay for the right to use images and logos prior to including them in your products.
Industrial Design – Functional items that have been designed specifically for mass production. For example, lamps, chairs, clocks, cutlery or radios and electronic devices that have been designed to be manufactured at scale in factories, rather than by hand.
Refurbishing and restoration – items such as furniture are not classed as a significant change and cannot be sold e.g. simply repaired, cleaned, polished, or waxed furniture.
Items not made by you – Products you are selling need to be made by you, sourced by you or you need to be part of the process.
Adult content, swearing and pornographic items – Items which are deemed to be pornographic or of an “adult nature” (interpretation of which is determined by EntrepeTeens) are prohibited. If unsure you are recommended to contact us before listing.
Illegal or hazardous or dangerous Items – Items which have been gained illegally or which are stolen or for which it would be illegal to trade (eg drugs, items sold as toys without the necessary licenses, copyrighted work or reproductions of copyrighted work without permissions). Hazardous or dangerous items such as weapons, knives or chemicals –.This includes ‘craft knives’. Weapon-related items are also not allowed.
Non handmade/homemade foodstuffs – Only homemade food can be listed and no mass-produced commercial products may be sold. No expired, rejected or producer surplus food may be sold.
Human or Animal parts – We do not allow items made using real animals or animal parts (e.g. taxidermy or real fur). Human or animal ashes may not be sold, however sellers may create items (for example, jewellery) that incorporate hair or ashes provided by the buyer.
Alcohol – Alcoholic beverages (which, by law, require a license to sell) are not allowed to be listed or sold. Although home-making kits are allowed e.g. a kit to make ginger beer.
Nicotine, E-cigarettes and E-liquid – Any products which contain nicotine are not allowed to be sold on EntrepeTeens. No vaping equipment including e-cigarettes or e-liquids, whether or not they contain any nicotine or are handmade.
Hate – We are not willing to host products that promote hatred or bigotry, or support organisations which are involved in campaigns that are intimidating to members of any group or section of the community.
Pills, herbal remedies – Any products which can be classified as medicinal.
4. Policy updates
We reserve the right to update or amend this list at any time, without warning and in our sole discretion.
